Swim School

Here on the Sunshine Coast, water is part of our lifestyle—so feeling confident in it makes a big difference. At the Immanuel Aquatic Centre, we’re not just teaching kids how to swim—we’re helping them feel safe, strong, and happy in the water.

Whether it’s their very first splash or they’re working towards competitive squad goals, our Swim School offers certified instruction in a warm, welcoming environment.

And with flexible lesson times before and after school, it’s never been easier for busy families to fit swimming into the week.

From Beginner to Competitor

Training for Every Level

Tucked right on the Immanuel Lutheran College campus, the Immanuel Aquatic Centre is more than just a pool—it’s a year-round training ground for swimmers of all ages and stages. Heated and fully enclosed, it’s protected from the elements so lessons and training sessions run rain, hail or sunshine.

You’ll find Immanuel students here during the school day for PE and squad training, and local families arriving before and after school for Learn to Swim, water polo prep and squad sessions. It’s open to the public and the College community, making it a true hub of energy and connection on the Sunshine Coast.

Our certified instructors bring experience, energy and care to every session—so families can feel confident their kids are in great hands. From toddlers learning their first kick to teens chasing PBs, our pool is a space where confidence grows, goals are met, and every swimmer feels right at home.
