Fruehlingsfest 2024: Immanuel's Annual German-Inspired Festival

Mark your calendars for Saturday, 10 August 2024, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, as Immanuel Lutheran College says "Auf Wiedersehen" to textbooks and "Guten Tag" to a Bavarian wonderland of excitement, creativity, and fun for the whole family!

What is Fruehlingsfest?

Imagine a day where German tradition meets Aussie spirit, where art meets adventure, and where the entire Sunshine Coast comes together to celebrate! That's Fruehlingsfest for you! 
Born in 1981 with a sprinkle of German heritage and a whole lot of community love, Fruehlingsfest has grown into the must-attend event of the year. It's more than just a festival - it's a Sunshine Coast tradition! 
Brought to you by Immanuel's dedicated Parents and Friends (P&F) Community, this event showcases the power of community spirit and volunteerism.

Artists on the Horizon

Calling all young Artists!

This year we are proud to introduce to Fruehlingsfest, our first-ever student focused art event, Artists on the Horizon. Celebrating the incredible talent of young artists from the Sunshine Coast and beyond. We are looking for visual and creative art pieces that celebrate unique style and vision. Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, take photos, or create wearable art, this is your chance to shine!
 Plus, there are amazing prizes up for grabs, including a $3000 prize pool generously donated, along with extra creative rewards like art supplies and lesson vouchers.

- 2D - Paintings, Drawings, and Mixed Media
- 2D - Photography, Digital Art, and Digital Illustration
- 3D Sculpture and Recycled Art
